A equipe de produção do novo live-action de Death Note, Light up the NEW world, divulgou recentemente novas imagens e detalhes sobre o longa. Foi revelado que o ator Sota Aoyama reprisará seu papel como o personagem Touta Matsuda. Anteriormente participou como o mesmo em Death Note e Death Note: The Last Name.
