Kusonoki Masashige (正まさ成しげ 楠木くそのき: Masashige Kusonoki) is the posthumous overarching deuteragonist of The Mimic. He is the one who sealed the Four Beasts, thus being a major driving force in the story. He is also the main ancestor of both Yasu Masashige and Keiko Masashige, and the father of Hirosa Masashige (also known as Shaku).
