This game is an intriguing yet simple adventure in strategy that can be played with two to four players. Each player has their own section of the board, and their own assigned color. Players take turns rolling a die, and try to race their four pegs clockwise around the map of the board, from start to finish.
Ludo is well known as a classic, but many don’t know that the game is actually based on the ancient Cross and Circle game design. Ludo has masqueraded under many names over the ages, and is sometimes known as Parcheesi or Sorry. Names change, but fun never falters! This game is an intriguing yet simple adventure in strategy that can be played with two to four players. Each player has their own section of the board, and their own assigned color. Players take turns rolling a die, and try to race their four pegs clockwise around the map of the board, from start to finish. In some versions, landing on another player’s peg will send that piece back to the start, creating some friendly conflict.
